Service: Website TLC

Ginny Robertson is the founder of the On Purpose Woman Global Community, a dynamic networking organization that brings together like-minded, heart-driven women, and encourages living life aligned with conviction. A natural at connecting, Ginny uses this platform to shine a light on her members, in order to help them showcase the great work they do and to help them grow their purpose-aligned businesses.

The On Purpose Woman Global Community brand publishes a bi-monthly digital magazine (On Purpose Woman Magazine), hosts an interview-format talk show (Real Women. Real Purpose. Talk Show.) and offers 13 opportunities monthly for members to connect – some virtual, most in-person.

Although existing members could get the information they needed regarding membership, meetings, the magazine and talk show from emails and in-person announcements, Ginny was pressed for the time needed to rework her WordPress site into a home base designed to shine a light on her and her team’s work.

Our work together started with a discussion of OPWGC’s goals and what services Ginny wanted to host and highlight. Site reorganization, as well as the addition of new content, allowed for more prominant promotion of paid services, such as memberships and magazine & talk show advertising placements, as well as free services like meetings and publications. It was also important that the organization’s brand was also preserved, but with a bit of a refresh.

Shifting over (temporarily) to all Zoom meetings starting in April 2020, the need for a streamlined and responsive digital “home base” crafted with the human, approachable feel members experienced in-person became very apparent. We created room on the site for Ginny to do a bit of storytelling about the group’s history, herself, and her team.  We made it easier to find meetings, join email lists for links and updates and locate Facebook gathering groups. Lastly, we clarified and amplified the path for members who previously joined for free to become paying members.

Shortly after launch, Ginny worked with LNK Creative to create a quiz to support women called “Standing in the Spotlight.” We were able to easily create a separate page to house the quiz, as well as a pop-up modal to promote and encourage site visitors to give it a try. We’re always excited to work with our client’s partners to enhance a site, and feel this addition was especially strong for the OPWGC brand and it’s desire to lift up and support the work of it’s members.

OPWGC has experienced a noticeable uptick in memberships since the site’s relaunch, which has been a thrill to hear about.

It was a pleasure to work with Ginny and her team, and to build a website that helps her organization “connect women around the world to their gifts, their purpose, and each other.”

And if you’re wondering, yes – I’m also now a member. Purpose-driven entrepreneurs have to stick together!

OPWGC's new site is true to the organization's brand, but refreshed and revitalized.

Amanda is not just a website whiz, she is super creative and fun to work with. She produced exactly what I needed with my new website, even though I wasn't clear what I needed when we started working together. And there were a lot of moving parts to consider. She removed any anxiety I had about the process, deadlines and technology, and the new website launch was pretty flawless. She continues to make sure things are updated and working smoothly and responds quickly to any new needs.
